Nurse Leaders + Las Vegas + Presidential Elections = Busy Week of Conferences! Phew… it was actually an eventful week as nurse leaders from world wide gathered in Las Vegas for the 2016 Nursing Management Congress!

Pre-conference workshops

Pre-conference workshops lasted for 2 days. Provides the foundations for achievement for those latest to the role, including the calculations – personnel, supplies and equipment – to operate the unit effectively and safely. In addition, latest managers improved skills in relationships and communication, in addition to coping with leadership pressures throughout the health care reform period. An opening session price remembering

This was my first real contact with doctor Zubin Damania, aka ZDoggMD, and now I’m an enormous fan! His humor, talent and keenness for improving the patient experience were inspiring. He encouraged us to “shuffle the deck” and start a brand new era of health care – Health 3.0 – newly personalized medicine with an emphasis on constructing relationships. So much learning

Although I actually have never held any nursing management role, the knowledge and advice from NMC experts shall be useful to all nurses. Here are some gems and suggestions I learned:
