Nurse on the Move: Lori Mayer [Podcast]
This special edition of Nurse On the Move features Lori Mayer, DNP, MSN, RN, MSCN, MS-certified nurse and editorial board member LiveWiseMS.org. LiveWiseMS launched in December 2016 and is a web site dedicated to supporting multiple sclerosis patients, their caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Our own senior editor, Kim Fryling-Resare, joined LiveWiseMS to supply her technical skills as an online editor, but in addition because the voice and face of the positioning. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2003 and devoted a part of her life to supporting patients like herself. She really useful that I speak with Mayer, who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is the director of Medical Research Services for Central Texas Neurology Consultants/Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic of Central Texas, in addition to chair of the IOMSN Research Committee and a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of MS Care .
