Nursing Now – a worldwide campaign to lift the profile of nursing

We know the worth of nurses and exhibit our knowledge and skills every single day to our patients, their families and society. Now, due to a brand new global campaign launched in collaboration with World Health ORganisation AND International Council of Nurseswe now have an even bigger voice that unites us and validates our work.
On February 27, 2018 Nursing now launched with activities all over the world including an impassioned speech by Her Grace, Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who was announced because the Patron of the Nursing Now campaign through the premiere in London. The Campaign Board and its partners will work over the subsequent three years to enhance health care by enabling nurses to do what we do best – promote health and stop disease. Based on the findings The triple impact of nursing report (improving health, empowering women, strengthening local economies), the campaign might be run as a part of the Burdett Trust for Nursing program.
AND
The five important programs campaign is:
- Universal medical insurance – ensuring high-quality health take care of everyone
- Evidence of impact – constructing evidence of our career’s contributions
- Leadership and development – supporting nurses as leaders in policy and practice
- Sustainable Development Goals – ensuring health, gender equality and economic growth
- Sharing effective practice – disseminating and improving access to collections of effective practice.
