Global Fund appoints Philippa Bonay as Chief Human Resources Officer

– The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) is pleased to announce that Philippa Bonay has been elected because the organization’s latest Chief Human Resources Officer. He will oversee the organization’s human resources (HR) operations, strategy and programs.
Bonay brings extensive experience in navigating complexity, accelerating transformation and constructing a high-performing, future-ready workforce. She joined Global Fund from the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS), where she was Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer, and a member of the UK Civil Service HR Executive.
Prior to her role at ONS, Bonay held several senior HR positions throughout the UK Government, including on the Ministry of Defence, the Cabinet Office and the Home Office. She was HR and Communications Director at AXA Technology Services and likewise held senior HR positions at Honeywell Aerospace, Thales Naval Division, Autologic Transport and Logistics and Lagardère Group in Paris.
Bonay will start working at Global Fund in April 2026.
