Objective: To conduct a descriptive nationwide online survey amongst nurse educators (n=940). Include a content evaluation of 1 open-ended query about selecting a university.

Nurse educators were motivated to specialize with a view to influence the nursing career. They desired to teach in a stimulating and versatile working environment.
