When I browse trailer because I feel the eagerness within the voices of the nurses featured. I can only imagine the impact that watching this whole feature-length documentary may have. It will premiere during National Nurses Week and I can not wait to see it!
In 2012, Carolyn Jones, a photographer and director, traveled across the United States documenting the work of nurses. In the identical 12 months, her book entitled , which comprises portraits, interviews and biographies of nurses she met along the way in which. Some interview with Jones reveals her passion for this project, though she isn’t a nurse herself. She says, “Nursing is real. “I am fascinated by how a nurse can help different people, even those who have committed terrible crimes, with the same compassion that she can show to a friend.” She learned rather a lot from talking to nurses, and her journey brought awareness to the general public about our necessary work. For that I’m grateful.
