Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an academic framework that starts with a straightforward but powerful premise:

The CAST UDL guidelines it brings this framework to life in a practical way. It is a research-based tool that helps teachers design instruction. Each student can then access, take part in, and reach meaningful, difficult tasks.
