Tips and time-saving for conference participants
Are you attending any conferences this spring? Here’s an inventory of time-saving suggestions and hacks to enable you to take advantage of your time!
Plan which sessions you’ll attend and create your travel itinerary! Use essentially the most convenient form for you – a paper and pencil list or an electronic device. Some conferences actually have a smartphone app to enable you to with this. Check this system for participants or ask on the registration point for details.
Conference centers could be large, especially whether it is a big event with numerous participants. Also keep in mind that walking through airports, train stations and other public transport will also be long.
If you wish to refer to a presenter or are focused on contacting a selected exhibitor, prepare your questions upfront. Sometimes lines could be long and time between sessions could also be limited. Make sure you take advantage of your time and convey your message clearly and concisely.
Take notes in your computer, mobile device or use pen and paper. The stuff you learn and take heed to will probably be fresh and exciting on the time, but once you get back to your “real world” you could not remember all the pieces as you thought.
Not all airlines provide snacks, and in the event that they do, there could also be a charge for them. Additionally, should you attend sessions without major breaks, having a snack or two will help alleviate hunger and keep you alert.
You can collect loads of “extras” during a conference. From leaflets and magazines to showroom gadgets and souvenirs, this may make packing to your return easier. However, concentrate on airline restrictions and charges! You might even think about using a bigger bag than it’s essential have extra room to your return trip.
