overview: The operating room nurse provides supervision and direction for the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care within the predominant operating room. Managing human, financial and other resources, staff development, compliance with regulatory and skilled standards, strategic planning and fostering collaborative relationships (nursing, anesthesiology, surgical specialty and surgical team) to make sure quality of practice and outcomes, coordination of effective care and efficient individual actions by gaining consensus and promoting participatory behavior.

Requirements:

  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse license or current energetic multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least one 12 months of experience in a managerial/supervisory or managerial position. At least two years of clinical experience within the specialty.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of perioperative services.

Preferred: :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Shift: Full time; No weekends

Location: Aurora Medical Center

overview: Provides clinical management of the department by organizing, coordinating and monitoring care provided to realize top quality patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license in Colorado or current energetic nursing license in multiple states.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an RN

Preferred: :

  • Three years of progressive supervisory or management experience.

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Hospital Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado

overview: Providing top-notch care within the Progressive Medical Care Unit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Three years of experience in related clinical areas.
  • BLS by AHA or ARC.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before the beginning date.
  • The BLS or CPR card should be valid for sixty days of rental.

Change: days

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Hospital Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado

overview: Assists the nurse manager in providing leadership on the unit/unit level to boost patient safety and optimize quality patient outcomes. Assumes delegated responsibility for overseeing unit activities and skilled practice standards.

Requirements:

  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • BLS by AHA or ARC.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before the beginning date.
  • The BLS or CPR card should be valid for sixty days of rental.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Three years of experience in related clinical areas.

Preferred: :

  • Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Three or more years of RN telemetry experience.
  • Three or more years of transition/PCU, procedural/pre/post RN experience.
  • One or more years of RN fee experience.

Location: Sky Ridge Medical Center, Lone Tree, Colorado

overview: develops and maintains systems that promote high levels of patient, worker and physician satisfaction; in addition to external customer satisfaction. She assumes 24/7 responsibility for labor and delivery and antenatal services, in addition to our 25-bed intensive care unit. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing and maintaining appropriate productivity standards. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in patient care in assigned areas. Develops patient care processes utilizing nursing process assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment for identified populations in accordance with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Documents patient care, coordinates interdisciplinary communication and care, participates on hospital committees, facilitates department meetings, develops and implements department-specific competencies, annual staff performance, supervises RNs, certified scrub technicians and department secretaries. Provides coaching and counseling to employees as needed. Monitors and takes into consideration worker attendance. Develop strategic plans for maternity services including: program development, quality standards and enhancements, safety and patient satisfaction initiatives. Demonstrate understanding of Joint Commission standards. Supports and models facility and department values, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current registered nurse license within the state of Colorado or current energetic registered nurse license in multiple states.
  • Higher education required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred: :

  • Three to 5 years of leadership experience in L&D.
  • The NICU experience.
