8-hour shifts that can change your life

Published

on

Nursing is a demanding career that requires constant attention, quick decision-making and physical endurance. While a standard 12-hour shift allows for more days off, long shifts often interfere with family schedules and family members’ work lives.

Moving to 8-hour shifts allows nurses to keep up higher levels of energy and focus throughout the shift, resulting in improved patient care and well-being. A working day that suits your spouse or partner also makes it easier to mix home and private responsibilities without sacrificing skilled development.
